Breweries of Burlington, VT

We visited several breweries in Burlington, VT during a camping trip to Grand Isle State Park. Burlington did not disappoint! I love to visit Burlington whether for camping, a day trip to downtown or a weekend getaway in one of the local hotels.

On our way to the campground we had a quick pop in for to-go into Two Heroes Brewery & Public House – 252 US-2, South Hero. This is a must visit for anyone exploring Champlain Islands. Their Turtle Bay IPA and Perfect Day honey Saison are local favorites, and they even craft their own hard cider for those craving something crisp and refreshing. They have a dog-friendly lawn and patio that make it feel like a backyard hangout with better beer.

🍺🍵 Zero Gravity Brewery – 716 Pine St

This cozy, cabin-like beer hall is ideal for a chill afternoon. With indoor and outdoor seating, a full food menu, and a draft list that includes everything from crisp lagers to bold IPAs, Zero Gravity is a crowd-pleaser. Bonus: their waffle and coffee menu in the mornings makes it a great stop even before the first pint

🧱 Burlington Beer Company – 180 Flynn Ave

Located in a 120-year-old brick building in the South End, BBCO blends historic charm with modern creativity. Their taproom and restaurant offer a wide range of house beers, plus cider, hard kombucha, cocktails, and even natural wine. The vibe is relaxed, the food is great, and the beer list is long and plentiful, perfect for those who love a twist on tradition.

🌊 Foam Brewers – 112 Lake St

Set right on the Burlington waterfront, Foam Brewers is an art-forward space with lake views, live music, and a rotating cast of small-batch beers. The outdoor patio is dog-friendly and perfect for relaxing. Their IPAs and sours are consistently top-tier, and the cucumber tzatziki? Highly recommend! It’s the kind of place where you settle in and lose track of time—in the best way.

🌕 Four Quarters Brewing – 70 Main St, Winooski

Just outside Burlington in Winooski, Four Quarters Brewing is inspired by the cyclical nature of the moon, a funky, imaginative spot known for sours, stouts, and experimental brews. The outdoor patio is dog-friendly, and the food menu is creative, inclusive, and packed with local ingredients. If you’re chasing something a little different, this is your moonlit detour.

From lakeside lounging to brick-lined taprooms, Burlington’s brewery scene is as diverse as it is delicious. Each stop brought something unique—whether it was a bold IPA, a cozy patio, or a friendly chat with the staff. If you’re camping at Grand Isle or just passing through, this beer trail is worth every sip.

🍻Cheers to good beer, great company, and the kind of getaway that leaves you planning your next one before you’ve even unpacked.
