Charlie Foxtrot Brewing is located at1700 S Tamiami Trl Unit A-5, Port Charlotte, FL opened in Jan 18, 2024. They are Veteran owned, family and leashed dog friendly!
We traveled here in 2024, and although they only had guest taps due to a new zoning restriction, the place was great! It was a welcoming feeling with very nice people and a great mission! To bring people together!
I had the pleasure of traveling there again with a guest traveler to try out their own beer! They finally were able to brew and sell their very own beer. They’re now brewing and serving their lineup, including Slick Sleeve Pale Ale, Curveball Cream Ale, Standard Issue IPA, and a Blueberry.
We sampled the Slick Sleeve Pale Ale, Standard Issue IPA and a small 8oz of the Blueberry.
We were not super fans of the IPA, the Blueberry was not overly tart and was very enjoyable, the Slick Sleeve Pale Ale was delicious and one to go back for more, especially in Florida on a hot day!
The environment has changed a bit since my first visit, but it still carries that warm, welcoming atmosphere with a great beertender who clearly loves what they do.
Will we return? Absolutely. I love supporting a brewery with a meaningful mission, one that donates to charity and opens its doors to everyone.
If you find yourself in Southwest Florida, make time to stop into this small but mighty brewery. It’s worth the visit.
